Today we started turning in our Periodic Table of Font projects. This is Alessandra's work. She did an excellent job of listing all 40 fonts and creating symbols for each. You can also tell she has excellent taste in the five favorites she picked out. Great job, Alessandra!

Great Job, Mackenzie! He clearly integrated his bar code into his image of a football flying through the air. He illustrated line, shape, emphasis, and motion in his work.
If I can do it anyone can! 4th Period was impressed. 6th Period claimed they couldn't tell what it was. Can't win them all...
Here is a photo of some great thumbnails from a student's sketchbook. The creative process is very important in our class!!!
Great Job Jacob! Each class room that finished their onomatopoeia posters early worked on school spirit posters for our door. Go F Hall!
Here is an example of a well done onomatopoeia. Madelyn's "boom" clearly illustrated it's own meaning. Her color selection was superb and truly draws your eye to her work when compared to others. She made use of cool and warm colors appropriately. Finally, she was successful and creating movement in her piece. Well done Madelyn!
This was my idea for handling discipline in a positive manner. If a class goes an entire class period without breaking the class rules then they will earn a ring for that day. If they earn 5 rings, the last 15 minutes of the following Friday, they will be rewarded with either candy, cookies, or games.
Congratulations to 3rd Period Table 2! Your poster was voted on as the best overall in each of my classes! The top five will all be hung around my class to clearly state and illustrate the Elements.
